Atlantic Powerboating runs the Irish Sailing powerboat courses at the Kilrush Marina Training Centre. We offer courses from the complete novice to experienced powerboaters in the leisure and commercial sectors.
Our courses offer the participant a relaxed but engaging learning experience. Our instructors are experts in their field and have developed their skills through various maritime experiences instilling confidence in the student to walk away from courses feeling competent to operate a powerboat.
WHAT IS POWERBOATING?
Powerboating is a fun and fast way to explore surrounding waters. A powerboat or power driven vessel is any boat that operates by engine power to propel it forward through the water. Powerboats range in engine power, type, size of craft, type of craft, operation and equipment on board.
At Atlantic Powerboating we break the components of powerboats down into small bite sized chunks so you can confidently go away having learned the skills to operate a little tender for a boat, leisure craft, a safety boat or even a tugboat and everything in between depending on what course you do with us!
